County Click's Tom Adeyemi makes his mark

County Click sponsored Tom Adeyemi continued his fine pre-season form shooting a goal for the canaries against Alex Ferguson's Manchester United Young Guns.

The 17-year-old from Attleborough stole the show, and after impressive form last year County Click continue to sponsor the hopeful for the 2009 / 2010 season.

"They are all in my thoughts now and Tom has pushed himself up there as well," said Gunn. "It was good sitting next to (coach) Ian Crook and just analysing the performance from Tom and he looked at me and said. 'He's given you a problem'.

"He is an excellent prospect and that's the reason he played today. I was quite proud to stand up in front of all the Academy staff this morning when they were having their induction meeting - he started right at the grass roots in Football in the Community and he's made his way straight through into the first team, and what a story that is.

"He didn't look overawed playing against Manchester United. he took the game to them. I was encouraging him to shoot before the game. He decided against one in the fifth minute, but the goal that he scored was top drawer. Then he had another opportunity where he had a hitch-kick volley late on. It was a good opportunity for Tom to show his promise - he's been doing that all through pre-season. I always said we would be looking forward to introducing some of the Academy scholars from last year into the first team squad and Tom has certainly introduced himself in a fine fashion."

County Click wish Tom and Norwich City all the best for the coming season which is just a few weeks away.

Norfolk Disney World...

Details have been released of a possible new £300m conference and tourism complex in the heart of the Norfolk broads.

Sitting on over 4 quare kilometres of land, just north of Norwich in the Rackheath, Woodbastwick and Salhouse areas.

The centre could feature 8,000 hotel rooms, two golf courses, an outdoor stage and it's own dual carriage way, and would become the largest convention centre in the UK.

Dubbed the Norfolk Hub, London architects and planners have submitted a plan and proposal to Broadland District Council. though yesterday the plans were criticised by local residents, business' and MP's as a cheap “Disney World” for the Broads.

A potential anonymous potential funder was in place but with an estimated build time of around five plus years I would not start to worry too soon.

It could include:

  • 11 hotels, ranging from two to five stars, with a total of 8,000 rooms
  • A convention centre providing three large halls of 12,000sq ft, 10,000 sq ft and 6,000 sq ft and 50 meeting rooms
  • A new dual carriageway link to the national road network
  • An outdoor stage for large scale open air events
  • An indoor sports centre
  • A new ultra light rail connection to the city and airport
  • A small monorail running on a loop track inside the site
  • Lorry parks for event organisers
  • Shopping mall and floating restaurants
  • New lake and canals
  • All weather tropical water park under a glass enclosure
  • Two 18-hole golf courses
